The Department of Hospital Administration, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Management & Science (SAIMS), Indore, organized a one-day workshop on “Smart Hospitals: Leveraging AI for Effective Healthcare Management” on November 7, 2025, at the SAIT Auditorium.
The session brought together faculty, students, and healthcare management professionals to explore how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping hospital operations, patient experience, and decision-making.
The workshop featured Dr. Sarthak SenGupta, Assistant Professor, Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), Bangalore, as the resource person.
Dr. SenGupta shared his expertise on integrating AI tools into hospital administration to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enable data-driven management. His talk covered real-world applications, including predictive analytics for patient care, AI-assisted resource allocation, and the emerging role of automation in healthcare systems.

Students gained a clear understanding of how AI can be applied to make hospitals more efficient, responsive, and patient-centric. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students and faculty discussed real challenges and innovative AI-based solutions for hospital settings.
