Sri Aurobindo Institute of Pharmacy observed National Youth Day 2026 with great enthusiasm by organizing a series of sports and fitness-based activities aimed at encouraging physical well-being, discipline, and active participation among students. The celebration highlighted the importance of fitness and a healthy lifestyle, aligning with the spirit of National Youth Day and its focus on youth empowerment.

One of the key highlights of the celebration was the Fitness Circuit Challenge, a dynamic activity designed to test students’ stamina, strength, coordination, and mental focus. The challenge created an energetic and competitive atmosphere on campus, motivating students to push their limits while maintaining discipline and teamwork.

The main event, titled the 100 Meter Fitness Challenge, was conducted at the college level on the institute campus. Students participated with enthusiasm, showcasing determination and sportsmanship throughout the activity. The challenge was structured in multiple rounds to assess overall fitness and endurance.

In the Qualifying Round, students completed a 100-meter track with four fitness hurdles placed at intervals. At each hurdle, participants performed specific exercises including push-ups, skipping, squats, and plank holds. Based on performance and completion time, selected students advanced to the next round.

The Final Fitness Round increased the intensity, requiring higher repetitions and longer endurance holds. This round tested not only physical strength but also consistency and discipline. Students demonstrated remarkable energy and focus while completing the tasks.

The concluding activity, the Bottle Transfer Challenge, added an element of coordination and speed. Participants transferred bottles across designated lines on a turf area, and the top performers were declared winners based on completion time and efficiency.

The event was successfully organized by the institute with the dedicated efforts of the organizing team, including Mr. Akhilesh Bilaiya, Ms. Mansee Bhatnagar, Dr. Sarika Sharma, Mr. Vipul Gendar, Ms. Pratibha Bhide, Ms. Shehnaz Sheikh, Mr. Narendra Kshirsagar, and Ms. Ruchi Jain. Their coordination ensured smooth execution and active student engagement.

The National Youth Day celebration at SAIP served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of physical fitness, self-discipline, and perseverance. Through such initiatives, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Pharmacy continues to promote holistic development and encourage students to lead healthy, balanced, and active lives.
