The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology recently hosted an engaging and insightful Cloud and DevOps workshop at the SAIT Auditorium. The session brought together students, expert trainers, and a learning environment filled with curiosity and enthusiasm.

The workshop was led by Prof. J. S. Rana, Co-Founder of Insta Dot Analytics, along with technical trainer Mr. Amit Ghoshi. Both speakers shared their industry experience, real-world examples, and the practical skills required to grow in the Cloud and DevOps domain. Their easy-to-understand approach helped students connect technical concepts with how they are applied in real companies and large-scale systems.

Throughout the session, students were introduced to the fundamentals of cloud computing, the DevOps lifecycle, the importance of CI and CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and the rapidly increasing demand for cloud professionals in the industry. They also explored various tools used for automation, integration, testing, and monitoring, giving them a clear idea of how modern software teams work behind the scenes.

The participation from CSE students was energetic and interactive. Many students asked questions, shared their ideas, and actively took part in discussions around career paths, latest technologies, and future skill requirements. The session gave them not only technical understanding but also confidence about the opportunities waiting for them in the IT field.

The workshop was coordinated by Prof. Shivangi Chauhan with support from student coordinators Madhav Maurya and Brajesh Patel. Their efforts ensured that everything from registrations to logistics ran smoothly, allowing students to focus fully on learning and engagement.

By the end of the session, students walked away with a deeper understanding of Cloud and DevOps, greater clarity about job roles in the industry, and the motivation to explore these domains more seriously. Workshops like this continue to strengthen SAIT’s commitment to preparing students for the skills and technologies that truly matter in today’s digital world.
