Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology organized TEDxSAIT 2026 at its campus auditorium. The event featured distinguished speakers and student voices addressing thought-provoking themes. It was a day of reflection, awareness, and meaningful dialogue.

Introduction 

 

Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology, a prominent institution under the Sri Aurobindo Group of Institutes, successfully hosted TEDxSAIT 2026 at the SAIT Auditorium, Sri Aurobindo Campus, Indore. The event brought together educators, professionals, students, and changemakers for a day dedicated to powerful storytelling and transformative conversations.

 

Designed around the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDxSAIT 2026 became a platform where perspectives were challenged, assumptions were questioned, and deeper reflection was encouraged. 

 

Inaugural Address 

The event commenced with an invocation ceremony followed by the official TEDx video. Mr. Kinshuk Trivedi, Organiser of TEDxSAIT, delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the importance of creating intellectual spaces within academic institutions. He highlighted how platforms like TEDx nurture independent thinking and encourage students to engage with real-world issues beyond academic boundaries.

 

Speaker Sessions

 

Ms. Rahela Tayyebi – “The Future Needs Fewer Stronger Children” 

 

Parenting Coach Ms. Rahela Tayyebi delivered a deeply reflective session on modern parenting and childhood development. In her talk, she challenged the popular belief that children must always be made “strong” to survive in competitive environments. She emphasized that emotional awareness, empathy, and resilience built through understanding are more valuable than forced toughness.

Her message resonated strongly with educators and parents in the audience, encouraging a shift from pressure-driven growth to emotionally intelligent nurturing. 

 

Ms. Batul Athar – “Subtracting One” 

 

Representing the student voice, Ms. Batul Athar, a B.Tech student of SAIT, presented a compelling talk titled “Subtracting One.” Her session explored the idea of removing limiting beliefs, distractions, or negative influences from one’s life to create space for clarity and purpose.

Through relatable examples and personal insights, she conveyed how growth sometimes begins not by adding more, but by consciously subtracting what no longer serves us. Her presence on the TEDx stage reflected SAGI’s commitment to empowering student voices.  

 

Mr. Zafar Ansari – “Before Fast Cities, There Were Thoughtful Ones” 

 

Historian and Archivist Mr. Zafar Ansari offered a thought-provoking perspective on urban evolution. His talk highlighted how older cities were built with cultural depth, community consciousness, and intentional design.

He invited the audience to rethink the modern obsession with speed and expansion, suggesting that progress should be measured not just by infrastructure but by sustainability and human connection. 

 

Mr. Mohit Malviya – “We Confuse Comfort with Progress” 

Wellness Mentor and Social Media Influencer Mr. Mohit Malviya delivered an engaging talk examining how modern society often equates comfort with advancement. He challenged the audience to differentiate between convenience and true growth. His session encouraged self-discipline, mindful living, and conscious effort as essential components of real progress, particularly in an age dominated by instant gratification. 

 

Ms. Archana Parsai Gehlot – “The Day I Stopped Being Normal” 

 

Founder of Asmakam Life University, Ms. Archana Parsai Gehlot, shared a powerful personal narrative centered around authenticity. Her talk emphasized the courage required to step away from societal expectations and embrace individuality.

She encouraged the audience to redefine what “normal” means and to pursue lives aligned with purpose rather than conformity. 

 

Dr. Rohita Sateesh – “Surviving the ‘I Know’ Epidemic” 

Counselling Psychologist Dr. Rohita Sateesh addressed a critical issue in today’s information-driven world: the illusion of knowing. She highlighted how overconfidence and closed-mindedness limit learning and growth. Her session stressed the importance of humility, curiosity, and continuous learning in personal and professional development. 

 

Ms. Surabhi Shah – “There Is No Away” 

 

Founder and Director of Carragreen, Ms. Surabhi Shah delivered a compelling session on environmental responsibility. Her talk emphasized that waste does not disappear and that sustainability begins with individual accountability.

She encouraged conscious consumption and lifestyle changes, reinforcing the idea that environmental impact is a shared responsibility. 

 

Audience Engagement and Institutional Impact 

 

The event witnessed active participation from students, faculty members, and invited guests. The atmosphere throughout the day was intellectually stimulating and emotionally engaging. Each session sparked discussions, reflections, and meaningful takeaways.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Chani Trivedi, Co-organiser of TEDxSAIT, who acknowledged the speakers, participants, and organizing team for their contribution to the success of the event.
