SCNA educates and trains a pool of highly employable IT skills on Internet networking. SCNA helps students prepare for industry-recognized certifications and entry-level information and communication technology (ICT) careers. Students are trained by highly experienced and professional networking experts to match the global requirements of networking skills. These certifications help students to become more employable when they pass out from the institute. SCNA is equipped with latest Cisco Routers, Switches, Ethernet ports, Wireless Routers, Interface card and high end PCs to implement different topologies used in the Cisco certification. SCNA also has high speed internet connectivity to access the online course materials and technical support.
Courses offered at SAIT-CISCO Networking Academy SCNA offers five levels of network certification: Entry, Associate, Professional, Expert, and Architect, the highest level of accreditation within the Cisco Career Certification program.
Entry: CCENT Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) validates the ability to install, operate, and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security. The curriculum covers networking fundamentals, WAN technologies, basic security and wireless concepts, routing and switching fundamentals, and configuring simple networks.
Associate: CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching is a certification program for entry-level network engineers in foundational networking knowledge. CCNA Routing and Switching is for Network Specialists, Network Administrators, and Network Support Engineers with 1-3 years of experience.
Professional: CCNP Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) validates the ability to plan, implement, verify, and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks and work collaboratively with specialists on advanced security, voice, wireless, and video solutions. Students with CCNP have demonstrated the skills required as network technicians, support engineers, systems engineers, or network engineers.
INTEL Intelligent Systems Lab has been set up at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology, Indore to enhance students' employability skills by signing MoU with Intel- FICE (Foundation for Innovation and Collaborative Education). The program associates a curriculum for: 1. Training of the trainers. 2. Student training with INTEL Certification. 3. Project to Students with mentoring by Intel and Trained Faculty. 4. Internship for selected students.
Students are trained by Intel/ trainers on Intel Galileo Processor and develop applications using either Open Source / Certified Software including Microsoft. The registered students can also participate in any Intel Innovation and Ideation camp conducted by Intel across the country.
Courses offered at INTEL Intelligent Systems Lab:
Intel Galileo Board: The Intel® Galileo board is a microcontroller board based on the Intel® Quark SoC X1000 application processor, a 32-bit Intel® Pentium® brand system on a chip (SoC). It is the first board based on Intel® architecture designed to be hardware and software pin-compatible with shields designed for the Arduino Uno* R3.This platform provides the ease of Intel architecture development through support for the Microsoft Windows*, Mac OS*, and Linux* host operating systems. The Intel Galileo board is also software-compatible with the Arduino software development environment, which makes usability and introduction a snap.
