Incubation And Startups
The incubation facility of the institute helps to nurture and grow new business ideas by supporting them through the early stages of development and change through business development processes, access to expert advisors, mentors, administrative support, office equipment, training, and access to potential investors, infrastructure, and people. It offers startups and new ventures access to the resources they need, all under one roof. It also acts as a temporary launching pad for new businesses.
The prime motto of the incubation center is to augment, enhance, and upgrade the business ideas of our students and develop a conducive ecosystem for them. The incubation Centre assists budding entrepreneurs in the following ways:
- High-speed Internet access and other high-tech infrastructure
- Networking opportunities with industry professionals
- Connections to higher education resources and strategic partners
- Help with marketing and presentation skills
- Technological and business basics assistance
- Accounting/financial management assistance
- Access to angel investors, venture capitalists, seed funds, and guarantee programs
- Mentoring and comprehensive business training
MoU Between Sri Aurobindo Institute Of Technology, Indore And Indore Smart Seed Incubation Centre
The institute has signed an MoU with ISCDL (Indore Smart City) and CIIEI (IIM-Ahmedabad) to conduct the start-up support program - Innocity for start-up founders and budding entrepreneurs studying here. The MoU was exchanged between Mr. Kinshuk Trivedi, Vice President of Sri Aurobindo Group of Institutes, and Mr. Rishav Gupta, IAS, CEO (ISCDL).
According to this, the institute and ISCDL will pitch in with their resources viz. Smart City Incubation Centre, Mentoring and Technical Support for the start-up founders and ISCDL will also provide them with Smart Seed Incubation Centre. CIIEI will conduct the start-up mentoring and it will also support the fundraising program.
Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology will provide the required infrastructure such as Centre of Excellence labs, Technical Support. Along with this, the institute would also provide Volunteers/Alumni to support Indore Smart Seed mentorship and provide connections. All these facilities would be available to Co-Workers and Incubatees of the program at Free of cost or subsidized cost as per the policies.

It is a Startup founded by our student Govind Sharma from CSE Department. He aims to provide an integrated and unified platform for basic domestic services like Plumbers, Electricians, Appliance Repairs, Car Wash, etc. through a mobile application with a user-friendly interface. Currently, it is operational in Ujjain city and it envisages expanding its services to Indore and nearby cities in the future. The startup is registered on the website of the Ministry of MSME and certified by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

ZagFox
Shreshta Shukle, an alumnus of the CSE Department at SAIT has been running this startup company successfully since November 2020. It is bringing together some widely used web hosting, WordPress, and server management solutions. The company is recognised under the Startup India Program.

R-Proxima Lighting Solutions
R- Proxima Lighting Solutions is a startup by SAIT alumni Rahul Gawadhe from the Department of Electronics & Communication. It is an emerging LED lighting technology brand that specializes in the manufacturing of innovative, next-generation LED lighting solutions that improve lighting quality, improve efficiency, and enhance the environment through reduced energy consumption. R-Proxima’s goal is to serve the growing need for energy-efficient, sustainable lighting and smart control solutions.
Govind was awarded by the Honorable Governor of M. P., Mangubhai C. Patel, and Dr.Sunil Kumar, Vice-Chancellor RGPV, Bhopal for his startup being selected in the Top 5 Startups of MP. He has also received a seed fund of Rs. 1,00,000 from RGPV, Bhopal for the startup.
Sri Aurobindo Business Incubation Centre (SABIC)
SABIC is a self-funded center that aims to encourage, inspire, and nurture young students and staff members by exposing them to new ideas and processes resulting in entrepreneurship. It will work under the Sri Aurobindo Institute of Pharmacy-IIC and will focus on creating a complete ecosystem that will foster a culture of Innovation among the students from idea generation to pre-incubation, incubation, and graduating from the incubator as successful start-ups.
