Computer Society of India Student Chapter

The Student Chapter of CSI is one of the foremost initiatives. It is created to help the student fraternity by connecting academia and industry. CSI student Chapter supports various activities among their student branches such as seminars, workshops, conferences, symposiums, quiz competitions, project competitions,s and many more. Student branches conduct various activities and different training programs for students as well as for faculties.

ACM Student Chapter

ACM Student Chapters provide exclusive prospects for networking, mentoring, and bonding over joint interests. They offer support both within the student community and to local communities outside the institution. Members are known as ACM Chapter Members; they are eligible for member benefits like complimentary electronic subscription, “acm.org” email forwarding address receipt of ACM’s Popular E-Newsletters, etc.

IETE Student Forum

The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is India's leading recognized professional society devoted to the advancement of Science and Technology of Electronics, Telecommunication & IT. The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at SAIT has had an active IETE Student Forum since 2013 and enrolled more than 200 students so far.

Indian Concrete Institute

The Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) was founded in 1982 with around 500 members from five regional centers. It is one of India's largest professional groups and a non-profit organization serving the requirements of individuals and organizations involved in the concrete industry. ICI is dedicated to the purpose of disseminating concrete knowledge, promoting concrete technology and construction, and addressing concrete research needs. For the benefit of practicing engineers and students, ICI also offers value-added concrete courses.

Indo German Tool Room

To improvise the interaction of the institute with industry, Our institute has signed an MoU with Indo German Tool Room (IGTR) Indore, which regularly plans and conducts activities for students to give them exposure to industry and practical knowledge. Our students are regularly attending short-term and mid-term training programs conducted by IGTR, as per their calendar. It is one of the leading Institutes for technical training in Tool & Die Technology, CNC Programming, and CAD/CAM.

Indo German Tool Room is well equipped with a Precision workshop, CAD/CAM Lab, and CNC machines and their teaching staff is well qualified and experienced in the field of the latest manufacturing technology using all types of software. The institute provides training using Audio-visual aids along with classroom teaching and workshop practice is provided to all the trainees.

IGTR provide the following training program for students of Mechanical and Civil engineering: Software Training Courses (3-weeks)

  • CAD/CAM Training Courses
  • CNC Programming and Operation (2-weeks)
  • Heat Treatment of Steels (1-week)
  • Inspection and Metrology (1-week)
  • Basic Course in Pneumatics and
    Hydraulics (1-week each)

DELNET

DELNET was founded in January 1988 at the India International Centre Library and became a society in 1992. DELNET encourages library resource sharing through the construction of a network of libraries. Its goals include collecting, storing, and disseminating information, as well as providing computerized services to the college, coordinating efforts for appropriate collection development, and reducing unnecessary duplication wherever possible.

CEPRD

The Centre for Environment Protection Research and Development (CEPRD) is a non-profit organization that was founded on June 6, 1996, as a consequence of the volunteer efforts of Indore's educated and environmentally conscious inhabitants. Indore has also been named India's cleanest city for the past three years. CEPRD is a group of crusaders who use current research and technology to conserve and promote the environment, with active public participation.

The group has operated under the principle of "Think Globally, Act Locally" for many years. They organize tree-planting efforts, public awareness campaigns, and lecture series, as well as contribute to the city's master plan. CEPRD concentrates on educating the kids and instilling green habits in them.
