B Pharm
Introduction to the Course
The B.Pharm was established in the year 2009. The B. Pharm. curriculum has been structured in such a way that the students apart from learning and understanding the pharmacy courses also gain exposure to other fundamental disciplines of core sciences like Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physical Chemistry, and Pharmaceutical Engineering.
Apart from the regular courses, B. Pharm students are also given direct exposure to the professional world through an internship in any pharmaceutical industry and Practice School (PS) method. These programs open a window of opportunity for an in-depth understanding of vast industrial operations and their various aspects such as inventory, productivity, management, information systems, human resource development, etc. These components of the B. Pharm. The curriculum shapes students by teaching them to learn by a process of observation and participation and enables them to work in an organized and systematic manner.
The department is well-equipped with chemicals, equipment, and instruments. After B.Pharm, the students would get an opportunity to work as a community pharmacist, hospital pharmacist, drug inspector, quality control associate, clinical research associate, research and development scientist, medical representative, formulation development associate, science writer, sales and marketing representative.
These features play a vital role in our curriculum & make it very unique in comparison with any other institute offering B. Pharm all across the country. Since we follow such a structured approach for the B. Pharm program, students undergo an overall development and gain knowledge in multidisciplinary fields which is reflected in the high-paying jobs they secure after completing their B. Pharm program.
