Sri Aurobindo Group of Institutes (SAGI), Indore, continues to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations through meaningful collaborations. In line with this vision, the institute recently organized an expert session in collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for students across disciplines, including B.Tech, B.Pharm, MBA, BBA, and other management programs.
The session was designed to provide students with a clear understanding of the evolving corporate landscape, particularly within the IT sector, while equipping them with practical insights to navigate their career journeys with confidence.
The program began with a warm welcome extended by Dr. Aaquil Bunglowala, Director, who emphasized the importance of industry interaction in shaping future-ready professionals. The session was facilitated by Ms. Megha Agarwal, Regional Head – Academic Alliances Group, TCS, and Mr. Sudhir Gupta, Assistant Director – Corporate Relations, reflecting a strong collaborative effort between academia and industry.
The keynote session was delivered by Mr. Sushant Jain, Delivery Head at TCS, who brought real-world perspectives and practical knowledge to the discussion. His session went beyond general career advice and provided students with a structured understanding of how leading organizations identify and nurture talent.
He offered detailed insights into the TCS hiring process, explaining the selection stages, evaluation criteria, and expectations from fresh graduates. Students gained clarity on how technical skills, logical reasoning, and communication abilities collectively shape employability in today’s competitive environment.
A key highlight of the session was the focus on preparation strategies. Mr. Jain guided students on how to approach aptitude tests, strengthen coding skills, and prepare effectively for both technical and HR interviews. He emphasized that while technical knowledge is essential, attributes such as clarity of thought, communication skills, adaptability, and professional conduct play an equally important role in long-term career success.
He also encouraged students to adopt a mindset of continuous learning, highlighting how rapidly evolving technologies demand constant upskilling. His message was clear that success in the corporate world is not defined by a single opportunity, but by the ability to learn, adapt, and grow consistently.
The session witnessed active participation from students, who engaged with the speaker through thoughtful questions and discussions around placements, career growth, and industry expectations. The interactive nature of the session made it both informative and relatable, allowing students to connect academic learning with real-world applications.
The event was effectively coordinated by Mr. Vajid Ahmed, Head – Training & Placements, ensuring smooth execution and meaningful engagement throughout the session.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the speaker and facilitators for sharing their time and expertise. The session left students with not just information, but clarity, direction, and confidence as they prepare to step into the professional world.
Through such initiatives, Sri Aurobindo Group of Institutes continues to reinforce its commitment to holistic education, industry readiness, and student success, creating opportunities that truly prepare learners for the challenges and possibilities of the future.
