Held on 8th April 2026 via Microsoft Teams, the session focused on introducing students to Boston Scientific’s 1-Year Apprenticeship Program and preparing them for the upcoming campus hiring process.
The session was led by Mr. Kabir D’Mello, a representative from Boston Scientific, who shared practical insights into the organization and its role in the global healthcare landscape. His interaction with students went beyond basic information, offering a clear picture of what it means to work in the medical devices sector.

The program is not limited to theoretical knowledge—it places students directly in real-world healthcare environments, helping them understand how medical devices are positioned, marketed, and used in practice.
The speaker also walked students through the benefits and opportunities that come with the apprenticeship. Along with a monthly stipend of ?35,000, the program includes performance-based bonuses, travel allowances, and insurance coverage. More importantly, it provides a strong foundation for building a career in a globally recognized medical device company.
A significant part of the session was dedicated to helping students understand how to apply and prepare. The application process, eligibility criteria, and various stages of selection were explained in a simple and structured manner. Students were also given practical tips on how to approach each stage confidently and improve their chances of selection.
