Spreading Green Vibes: How SAIP Students Took Over Indore Metro for World Environment Day
On World Environment Day, students and faculty of Sri Aurobindo Institute of Pharmacy took to the Indore Metro to spread eco-awareness. With posters, conversations, and enthusiasm, they inspired commuters to adopt greener habits and protect the planet.

World Environment Day took on a whole new energy this year, thanks to the students and faculty of Sri Aurobindo Institute of Pharmacy. They stepped out of their classrooms and into the heart of the city’s newest pride, Indore Metro, to spread awareness about protecting our environment.
The goal was simple: to remind people that even small steps like using less plastic or planting trees can go a long way toward keeping our planet healthy. What better place to do this than inside the metro, a symbol of clean and sustainable transport?
The campaign was full of color and conversation. Students held up posters with strong messages about going green and living sustainably. But they didn’t stop there. They spoke to passengers, shared tips, and listened to what others had to say, too. Many commuters were so inspired that they promised to make eco-friendly changes in their own lives.
Faculty members joined in as well, showing that taking care of nature is a team effort. The event wasn’t just about raising awareness but about starting conversations and making people think twice about their daily choices. Dr. Gaurav Kant Sarogi, the Principal of Sri Aurobindo Institute of Pharmacy, summed it up perfectly. “Our students aren’t just focused on their studies. They care deeply about the world around them. Doing this inside the metro helped the message reach even more people.”
The campaign reminded everyone that progress doesn’t have to come at the cost of the planet. With a little effort from each of us, development and environmental care can go hand in hand. And if the future looks anything like these students, it’s definitely in good hands.
