A Step Towards a Plastic-Free India: Cleanliness Drive by SAIP and BSF Revati Range
SAIP Indore partnered with BSF Revati Range for a Cleanliness Drive focused on reducing plastic waste. Through hands-on cleanup and eco-conscious disposal, students and staff set a strong example of environmental responsibility.

In a powerful demonstration of environmental commitment, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Pharmacy (SAIP), Indore, joined forces with BSF Revati Range to organize a purposeful Cleanliness Drive, supporting the national initiative “One Nation, One Mission: End Plastic Pollution.”
This collaborative effort wasn’t just another event on the calendar—it was a real step toward building a plastic-free and sustainable future. The atmosphere buzzed with energy as students, faculty members, and staff rolled up their sleeves and got to work, united by a common goal: to clean up the surroundings, raise awareness, and inspire meaningful change.
Wearing gloves and armed with eco-conscious determination, participants collected plastic waste and other non-biodegradable materials from the BSF campus. The drive emphasized not just the physical act of cleaning, but also the responsible disposal and recycling of waste—an important part of SAIP’s ongoing commitment to environmental care.
Every item collected was handled by sustainable disposal practices, ensuring that the waste didn’t simply move from one place to another but was dealt with in a way that minimized harm to the environment.
More than just a cleanup operation, this initiative was a message in action. It reminded everyone involved—and everyone watching—that small, consistent efforts can lead to big changes. It also reinforced the idea that fighting plastic pollution is not limited to large-scale policies; it starts with individual and community-level actions. As the event drew to a close, one thing was crystal clear: we all have a role to play in protecting our environment. Whether it’s refusing single-use plastics, participating in community cleanups, or simply being mindful of waste, each choice adds up.
Let’s carry this spirit forward. Let’s say NO to single-use plastic. Let’s say YES to a cleaner, greener, and stronger India.
