DTE has a provision for admission in B.Tech based on merit in the Class XII examination. Who has not appeared in JEE. Students go for registration and fill out their choice of college. On the basis of merit and based on choice college is allotted to students. If a student is satisfied with the allotment he will report to the allotted college for completing the admission process. If a student is not satisfied, then he may upgrade his choice and appear in the next round of counseling (if the next round is declared).

College Level Counseling (CLC)

After the Non-JEE round if seats remain vacant then DTE conducts College Level Counseling for 10+2 passed eligible students. For this students have to register themselves online. On the day of CLC, students must be present in the institute with an online registration receipt along with TC, Migration, 2 sets of photocopies of required documents, and photographs.
