Introduction
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) has been an integral part of Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology (SAIT) since its inception in 2009. The department offers a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a four-year (eight-semester) program with an annual intake of 30 students.
Equipped with modern laboratories and advanced systems, the department provides students with the resources to explore diverse opportunities in industries such as Electric Vehicles, Renewable Energy, and Electrical Design. Students gain expertise in developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing of electrical equipment like electric motors, radar and navigation systems, communication systems, and power generation equipment. Additionally, electrical engineers from the department contribute to the design of electrical systems for automobiles and aircraft.
The curriculum, designed in line with AICTE norms, is tailored to meet the latest trends and demands of the industry and research fields. It covers an array of specialized subjects, including Hybrid & Electrical Vehicles, SCADA Systems & Applications, Applications of AI in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, and Power Quality Problems and Mitigation Techniques. To enhance the learning experience, the department organizes seminars, webinars, internships, workshops, and hands-on projects, offering students a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical application.
With its cutting-edge infrastructure and industry-aligned curriculum, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at SAIT prepares students for successful careers in the rapidly evolving field of electrical engineering.
