Objective of the event

To Celebrate world environment day with a motive to spread awareness about Afforestation
and techniques to combat with global warming.

Event Details

The world environment day is celebrated every year on 5th June and is the United Nations' principal vehicle for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of the environment and the planet earth. It is a day that reminds everyone on the planet to get involved in environment friendly activities.

With a theme of “Go green”, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Pharmacy, Indore celebrated World Environment Day on 5th of June 2022. Students of B. Pharmacy and Pharm D participated and celebrated world environmental day enthusiastically. We conducted a plantation drive in our herbal garden in which faculty members and students participated.

We also conducted photography competition with theme “Mother nature” in which students displayed the serene beauty of nature with their innovative perception.

The event was conducted successfully with whole hearted participation and awareness about significance of plantation.

Benefit in terms of learning/skills/knowledge obtained

The event celebration was conducted keeping plantation drive as a main source of celebration. The importance of plantation and conservancy of the mother nature was explained during the event.
