For three inspiring days, the campus of Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology (SAIT), Indore, became a meeting place for passionate educators, innovators, and academic leaders from across India. From 2nd to 4th July 2026, the institute proudly hosted the AICTE-sponsored Innovation, Design & Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp 2026, welcoming 201 teachers and faculty members representing institutions from different parts of the country.
The bootcamp was designed to encourage educators to think beyond conventional teaching methods and explore how innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship can become an integral part of learning. More than just a training programme, it became an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences, discover practical approaches, and build lasting professional connections.
The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony that reflected the importance of innovation in today's educational landscape. Faculty members, dignitaries, and participants gathered to celebrate the beginning of a programme dedicated to creating positive change in classrooms and institutions.
We were honoured to welcome Mr. Rakesh Singhai, Vice Chancellor of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore, as the Chief Guest. His thoughtful address inspired participants to embrace innovation with confidence while continuously adapting to the changing needs of higher education.
His words reminded everyone that institutions play a vital role in shaping future innovators, and that educators are the driving force behind meaningful transformation in society.

One of the highlights of the bootcamp was the presence of distinguished AICTE experts Mr. Vipluv Pathak and Mr. Rishabh Gill, whose sessions received an enthusiastic response from participants.
Through engaging discussions, interactive activities, and practical examples, they explored topics such as:
Rather than focusing only on theory, the sessions encouraged participants to actively think, question, and develop solutions for real educational challenges. The interactive nature of these discussions ensured that every participant left with practical ideas that could be implemented within their own institutions.
Throughout the bootcamp, participants worked together in an atmosphere of openness and curiosity. Group discussions, collaborative exercises, brainstorming sessions, and interactive workshops created countless opportunities for exchanging ideas and learning from one another.
Educators from diverse academic backgrounds shared their experiences, discussed common challenges, and explored innovative teaching practices that can help prepare students for a rapidly changing world.
The enthusiasm displayed throughout the programme demonstrated that innovation grows stronger when knowledge is shared collectively.
Innovation is not limited to technology or startups—it begins with the willingness to think differently.
The IDE Bootcamp encouraged participants to develop this mindset by exploring new perspectives, questioning traditional approaches, and understanding how creativity can become a natural part of education.
Participants discovered that innovation can be introduced in classrooms through simple yet impactful practices such as collaborative learning, design-based thinking, problem-solving activities, and student-driven projects.
These discussions reinforced the belief that educational institutions have the power to cultivate future innovators by encouraging curiosity, experimentation, and continuous learning.
Apart from the academic sessions, the bootcamp also provided valuable opportunities for networking and relationship-building.
Educators from different states interacted freely, exchanged best practices, discussed institutional initiatives, and formed connections that are expected to continue well beyond the three-day programme.
The event successfully created a community of educators united by a common purpose—to make education more engaging, innovative, and relevant for future generations.
Successfully hosting an event of this scale stands as another significant milestone for Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology, Indore.
Welcoming 201 educators from across India and facilitating meaningful discussions on innovation reflects the institute's continued commitment to academic excellence, professional development, and creating platforms that contribute to the growth of the education ecosystem.
The overwhelming participation, enthusiastic engagement, and positive feedback from attendees made the bootcamp a memorable and impactful experience for everyone involved.
Although the AICTE-sponsored Innovation, Design & Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp 2026 has concluded, its impact is only beginning.
The ideas shared, the conversations initiated, and the collaborations formed during these three days will continue to influence classrooms, institutions, and students across the country.
