International Yoga Day 2025 Celebrated at SAIT Indore with “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”
Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology, Indore celebrated International Yoga Day 2025 with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” The event combined yoga sessions, chakra exploration, and a sustainability initiative focused on waste segregation.

Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology (SAIT), Indore, observed the 11th International Yoga Day theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” emphasizing the connection between personal well-being and environmental sustainability.
The event was held on campus and led by yoga instructor Mr. Ajay Joshi. It began with foundational yoga asanas and breathing techniques, followed by synchronized Surya Namaskar. Participants also engaged in an introductory session on the seven Kundalini chakras, highlighting how energy alignment can aid mental and emotional balance.
An important component of the celebration was an eco-awareness initiative promoting responsible waste management. Six color-coded bins were used to encourage segregation of Plastic, Organic, Paper, Metal, Glass, and E-waste—practices aligned with the Indore Municipal Corporation’s sustainability goals.
The session concluded with meditation and collective chanting for peace and harmony. Prof. Amit Holkar, Head Academics at SAIT, remarked that yoga fosters both inner strength and environmental responsibility, reinforcing the event’s central message.
The event was jointly organized by SAIT’s Student Activity Cell (SAC), Avahaan (Social Activity Club), and Desperado (Sports Club). It was part of a broader initiative to support the nationwide “Yoga for One Earth, One Health” campaign led by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
This celebration reflected SAIT’s commitment to holistic education, integrating physical health, mental clarity, and ecological responsibility into campus life.
