3D Digital Game Art and Design
Over the last 2 decades, the gaming industry has changed drastically with the emergence of home consoles such as the Playstation and Xbox 360, PC, and Mobile Gaming. Live Streaming on platforms like YouTube and Facebook, and the rise in the number of Gaming Competitions has persuaded the youth to choose gaming as a full-time career option rather than using it as a tool for entertainment.
The 3D Digital Game Art and Design Program is designed to help students learn and demonstrate storytelling for games by creating a Game Design Document (GDD) and providing them an understanding of game mechanics, the role of characters & the process of game level designing. The program also allows students to understand & utilize the game production pipeline & workflow between various software and platforms like Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter & Unreal Engine, and the process to model & digitally sculpt 3D game characters and produce concept designs for game characters & environments (game levels).
