2. Data Management:

The field of clinical data management (CDM) has emerged in response to the needs of the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory bodies. As the pressure to expedite the development of pharmaceutical products intensifies, regulatory bodies require strict adherence to quality standards for the data collected during the drug evaluation process. 

To minimize discrepancies in large and complex clinical trials, specialized software applications used in CDM can be pursued, such as Oracle Clinical, Rave, eClinical suite, Clintrial, and Macro. Clinical data management systems (CDMS) are particularly critical for trials conducted across multiple medical centers that generate a vast amount of data. It is currently one of the highest paying jobs available.

3. Clinical SAS:

SAS is a leading provider of analytical solutions on a global scale. Its software enables users to manipulate, organize, and report on data, as well as to perform advanced analytics, such as multivariate analysis, business intelligence, criminal investigation, and predictive analytics. SAS Clinical Data Management is the use of SAS software to manage clinical trial data in the healthcare sector, which has created significant employment opportunities for skilled SAS Clinical Programmers. Students with a background in life sciences, B.Pharma, or M.Pharma, can pursue a career in this field with a solid understanding of SAS, CDISC, SDTM, ADaM, and TLF, which can help to advance their career prospects.

4. Pharma Management:

After completion of B. Pharm one may opt for MBA degree in relevant specifications such as MBA in  Pharma Tech, Drug Store Management, Pharma Marketing, Pharmaceutical Management, Healthcare Management, Pharma and Sales Management MBA in Pharma Business and Sustainable Development to get Administrative level job opportunities in Pharma sector.

5. Medical Billing and Coding: 


Medical billing and coding involve transforming patients’ health data (their diagnoses, any tests performed, and their treatment protocol) into alphanumeric codes using standard coding systems, then using these codes to bill the patient’s health insurance provider and/or the patient themselves for their portion of the expense. One can pursue IPR courses available and grow in this particular career option.

7. Medical Assistant:


Healthcare professionals known as medical assistants provide support for patient care by performing tasks such as measuring and recording vital signs, assisting practitioners during examinations, and collecting blood samples for laboratory analysis. After completing their studies, individuals can choose to pursue a Medical Assistant Diploma or a Health Sciences - Medical Assistant Associate Degree Program to prepare for a career in this field.

Upon completion of a brief online program in Healthcare Management Associate Degree, individuals can become Medical and health services managers who contribute to the smooth functioning of healthcare organizations.
