The recent online session on "Pharmacological Interventions using Drug Information Software" held on November 30th, 2023, orchestrated a profound exploration into the practical applications of drug information software within the realm of pharmacology. The session commenced with an engaging welcome address, inviting the esteemed guest speaker, Dr. Prasanth Vas Sahu, to delve into the realm of pharmacological interventions using prominent drug information software such as LEXICOMP. Dr. Sahu, drawing from a wealth of experience, introduced his journey as a pharmacologist, having served in prestigious positions at Medstar Hospital and Aster Hospital as the Head of Clinical Pharmacology.

Currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Infokart Pvt Ltd., Dr. Sahu emphasized the critical role of drug information software in equipping Pharm D students with essential skills for their clinical pursuits. He navigated through the software's dashboard, showcasing an array of tools designed to streamline clinical queries, providing insights into Drug ID, Interactions, Monographs, dose calculators, and more.

 

 

The session culminated with an interactive segment, fostering a vibrant exchange of questions and insights. Dr. Sahu adeptly moderated the Q&A session, addressing participant queries with finesse and expertise.
