On 7th September 2024, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology (SAIT) organized a magnificent Induction Program for the new B. Tech Batch of 2024. It was all about the spirit, energy, and enthusiasm that had been freshly developed from this event to get the new students ready to rock their stay at SAIT. The day was packed with great speeches, entertaining performances, and opportunities for students and their families to get acquainted with the college.
Great Speeches to Kick Off the Day
The day started with some motivating speeches from important people at SAIT:
Mrs. Chani Trivedi, Chairperson of Sri Aurobindo Group of Institutes (SAGI), extended a welcome speech and expressed the values of hard work and excellence at SAIT. She encouraged the freshers with her words and created a good atmosphere for them.
The Vice President of Sri Aurobindo Group of Institutes (SAGI), Mr. Kinshuk Trivedi, expressed his views regarding the future of technology and how SAIT is preparing students for it. His speech was both inspiring and informative.
Dr. Aaquil Bunglowala, the Director of Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology (SAIT), introduced the institute by explaining what SAIT stands for as well as the role that it plays in ensuring its students are well taken care of. His speech helped everyone understand the SAIT's goals and commitment to education.
Special guest Janak Palta McGilligan who is also a Padma Shri award recipient, followed the discussion presenting her work at the Jimmy McGilligan Centre for Sustainable Development. There was no doubt that she was very passionate about her advocacy of making a change in the community.
Fun Performances by Seniors
The Induction Program also featured some amazing performances by the senior students:
Dance Performances: The seniors then entertained everyone with some interesting and lively dance performances. It was a good chance to meet students of SAIT and to observe the potential and enthusiasm of students of this amazing educational establishment.
Vocal Performances: The vocal performances added a beautiful touch to the event. The singing was fantastic and helped create a joyful atmosphere.
A Day for Both Students and Families
One of the best parts of the Induction Program was that it included both students and their families:
Campus Tour: Parents had the chance to explore the campus and see the facilities their children will be using. This helped them feel more comfortable and informed about SAIT. This is something that SAIT always does to make sure every parent is well-informed about the amazing facilities that SAIT offers.
Meeting the Staff: Families could also meet some of the teachers and staff. This made it easier for them to understand the support available to students and how SAIT helps them succeed.
Wrapping Up
The B. Tech induction program for the batch 2024 of students at SAIT was a beautiful orientation that was conducted to welcome new students and families. This way, encouraging words and spectacular performances, as well as making sure all attendees feel welcome contributed to making the day joyful and promising for the following years.
