Expert Session on Business Communication Held at SAIT in Collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services

Institution's Innovative Council at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology (SAIT-IIC) partnered with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's leading IT Company, to conduct an expert session on Business Communication.

The event took place on August 4th, 2023 and was aimed at the final and pre-final year students of Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil and Mechanical Engineering.

Inauguration and Welcome


The program commenced at 11:00 AM with a warm welcome to the distinguished guests. In attendance were Mr. Sachin Goyal, Delivery Head at TCS; Mr. Saksham Sharma, Lead CSR; Mr. Darshan Joshi, Developer at TCS; and Mr. Ankit Sharma, HCM Recruit Consultant. 

They were greeted with a bouquet of flowers by Mr. Amit Holkar, Head of Academics; Mr. Vajid Ahmed, TPO, SAIT; and Mr. Sunil Parihar, HoD, CSE.


Following the traditional welcome, Mr. Saksham Sharma took the stage to introduce the expert of the session, Mr. Sachin Goyal, and provide a brief overview of the event.

Session Overview: The Importance of Business Communication

The highlight of the day was the insightful session on business communication led by Mr. Sachin Goyal. He eloquently addressed the importance of business communication, focusing on why it is essential for students in various engineering disciplines.

Teamwork and Self-Development Strategies

Mr. Goyal opened the session with a captivating explanation of teamwork and self-development strategies, illustrating these vital concepts with real-life examples. He emphasized the role of effective communication in fostering collaboration and personal growth.

Commitment and Mindfulness

Further into the session, Mr. Goyal discussed the importance of fulfilling promises and maintaining approach in professional settings. He explored the relationship between mindfulness, and success, providing actionable insights for students to carry forward in their careers.

Audience Engagement and Participation

The audience, comprising around 150 students and faculty members, actively participated in the session, engagin in thoughtful discussions and questions. The offline mode of the event fostered a stimulating and interactive environment.

Conclusion and Vote of Thanks

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. Sunil Parihar, HoD of Computer Science Engineering Department. He expressed gratitude to the speakers, organizers, participants, and everyone involved in making the session a resounding success.
